watching the sky grow darker,

connecting the moon’s scattered pieces,
as it glows through the branches…

that you are alive.
It awakens hidden feelings,
unnoticed moments,
the depth you carry…
Darkness reveals the light
We light the darkness
with the remaining sparks of our being.
We tear the chains apart
with the courage we inherited.
With our tears,
we soften the ground
until even wounded land…
