Artist Statement:
I believe that beneath the noise and pace of modern life, we can easily lose touch with our inner world and with parts of ourselves that are difficult to notice or express.
My work explores the nature of being human: memory, freedom, connection, stillness, and the ways we perceive ourselves and the world around us. It is a form of self-reflection, a way of paying attention to what might otherwise remain unseen.
By expressing emotions and experiences that we share as human beings, I want to create a space for moments of recognition and a quiet reminder that we are not alone in what we feel.
The Medium:
My background and curiosity have always drawn me toward both art and technology. Digital painting became a natural meeting point between these two worlds.
I create my finished artworks by hand on an iPad, using Procreate and Apple Pencil. The digital medium allows me to move between precision and intuition, between something technological and something deeply human.
Alongside my digital practice, I regularly work with traditional materials such as watercolor and pastel.
Creative Process:
My process begins with an inner feeling or observation.
I write it down as a form of self-reflection, sometimes taking the shape of a poem.
From there, I look for the feeling beneath the words and explore how it can be translated into an abstract visual form.
My painting process is intuitive and exploratory. Each line, brushstroke, and ink-like mark is drawn or painted by hand. As the work develops, I change forms, remove elements, and respond to what emerges on the canvas.
Reduction is an important part of my process. I often work by taking things away rather than adding more, searching for the point at which a line, a gesture, or an empty space can carry the feeling on its own.
I continue until I find a sense of balance in the artwork.
Once the painting is complete, I carefully select a high-quality fine art paper suited to the individual piece. The texture and character of the paper are important to me. They should preserve and enhance the depth, texture, and feeling of the original painting when it takes physical form.
Each artwork is released as a limited edition, individually signed and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity and a printed copy of the poem that inspired the painting.
