Onyx Collection
Onyx begins as a private act of writing. Each work originates in a poem, a reflection on the concepts we rarely pause to examine: the life we haven't lived, the last time we didn't know was the last, the attention the world takes without asking, the moment someone changes us, the freedom that begins when we choose to truly show up.
Created through digital painting, the works are stripped to black and white — ink-like washes dissolving into structured line, negative space holding as much weight as the mark itself.
Onyx is a collection about the invisible textures of a life, the ones we sense but rarely name.
"The unlived life"___ All of us carry a version of life within us, a life we haven’t lived yet. A different life than the one we are living, colored in other shades.
"The last time"___ No one ever truly knows when the last time will come. It might be happening now, or perhaps it already passed quietly, without a sound.
"Attention"___ The world is loud. It hums and pulses with a thousand voices. News, Notifications, Wars, Worries.. Each of them steals a piece of our attention every single day.
"Connection"___ There are moments when someone's presence crashes into your soul, sometimes gently, sometimes like a storm, and suddenly, you're not the same!
"Freedom"___ Maybe freedom begins the moment we decide to live in this world, not just in our minds.
